The past few months have exposed many inhumane incidents. Racism, Casteism, Classism, Sexism, and so much more. All of these call to mind the responsibility of life.
Micah 6:8 – No, O people, the Lord has told you what is good, and this is what he requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God. (NLT)

The Warli characters in this artwork – the spiral of people amidst the branches of the Tree of Life and the people who are not ‘daunted by the world’s grief but do justly, love mercy, and walk humbly now before the Almighty God,’ represent the kingdom of God.
The Pirkei Avot 2:21 of the Jewish Mishnah states, It is not incumbent upon you to finish the task. Yet, you are not free to desist from it.
Where are you, and what can you do in your situation to
Do Justly, Now!
Love Mercy, Now!
And Walk Humbly before God, Now!
Are you listening to the cries around you?
In India, we have many migrant workers starving and dying along their way home – simply because of the lack of resources and provisions to care for their needs. The daily-wage people have no means or are struggling to provide food for their families.
In Zimbabwe, the leaders are living such affluent and wealthy lives leaving the people of the land with very poor infrastructure to live decent lives.
The women in Bolivia are being trafficked. The children of Vietnam are sexually exploited.
People of color in the US are being ill-treated and murdered out of prejudice and biased fear.
Are the cries of people from faraway lands tugging at your heartstrings?
Listen – Pray – Do- Love – Walk.
May the good Lord be with you as you find ways to fulfill your responsibility.
