We do not learn from experience … we learn from reflecting on experience.

The Romans named the first month of the year January after Janus, the god of the beginnings and the ends. Janus is depicted with two heads facing in opposite directions. This image of two faces represent the past and the future but also wisdom.

This brings to my mind John Dewey’s quote on reflection:

” We do not learn from experience… we learn from reflecting on experience”

Looking back at what is the most challenging year on a global scale, I am thankful for the different ways God has blessed me.

Looking forward to 2021!!

  1. I too want to look to God, the One God who created 2021 and ask Him to bless my family in this new start!
