A Contemplative Lenten Experience: Thank you Holy Spirit
Scripture: Acts 2:2-4
When the day of Pentecost arrived, they were all together in one place. 2 And suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. 3 And divided tongues as of fire appeared to them and rested on each one of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance. Acts 2:2-4 ESV

This doodle represents the Holy Spirit as a dove, water and the wind. Use the words of the Hymn below to ask for a fresh presence of the Holy Spirit.
Breathe on me, Breath of God,
Fill me with life anew,
That I may love what Thou dost love,
And do what Thou wouldst do.
Breathe on me, Breath of God,
Until my heart is pure,
Until with Thee I will one will,
To do and to endure.
Breathe on me, Breath of God,
Till I am wholly Thine,
Until this earthly part of me
Glows with Thy fire divine.
Breathe on me, Breath of God,
So shall I never die,
But live with Thee the perfect life
Of Thine eternity.
Prayer:
Lord thank you for your presence with us at all times. Thank you Holy Spirit for your continued guidance and comfort. Help me listen very carefully to your voice as I live these days to honor you. I pray this in Jesus name. Amen
