I recently visited Chennai, India the land where I grew up. One evening while sharing dinner with some friends we laughed over our goofiness and gave thanks to our God for His faithfulness. That day I had been contemplating over Psalm 51: Have mercy on me O God according to your steadfast love, according toContinue reading “..according to God’s Steadfast love”
A couple of days ago I started this doodle on a scrap of paper during a Lectio Divina reading of Psalm 139:13 -16 The media and hearts of many were still buzzing from the shooting incident that took the lives of some in a community and caused terror to many more. For this experiment we use paper towels or cotton instead of soil. We watch the seed every day and make observations. EveryContinue reading “start the conversation”
St. Patrick was English. Abducted by the Irish, he was then thrown into slavery, escaped, entered the priesthood and felt called to go back to the very people that wronged him. He went back and spread the Christian faith of forgiveness, grace, and Trinity. It seems he has been adopted by the Irish through livingContinue reading “St Patrick’s day”

Here is Aradhya’s birthday picture of Jesus. She was 3 years old when she drew this picture. The tiny little head with 2 eyes and 2 legs is baby Jesus. You can also see Mary, Joseph and some shepherds.
At the age of 4 Nadira drew a series of pictures depicting the birth of Jesus. This was a Selah moment, an art response to the story of the Shepherds watching over the sheep when the birth of Jesus was announced to them. The yellow skies represents the glow from the presence of the angels.
